Getting Started

We began this new business from an ideal that small business accounting should not be that hard.  I’ve recently talked with a couple of entrepreneurs that did not know the basics of accounting but have a very keen business savvy.  The business owners had stalled finding an accountant because it was a dreaded task. You know, one that many of us find that it’s important, but can’t get started because it seems complicated and long.

We can help.  The process is one that takes a little bit of guidance to establish the beginning.  Like a Chart of Accounts?  A Chart of Accounts helps to guide you to categorize your day-to-day transactions. For example, you will need to establish bank rules, when you deposit money into your account. If you were to make a personal investment, and not from sales, it will be important to classify this correctly. If not, you could end up paying additional taxes.

This begins the process, but we’ll walk you through the rest.  Just having a CPA that understands the working of accounting and income taxes will make the rest bearable.
